COHERENT PARAGRAPHS What is a Paragraph? A paragraph is a group of sentences about one topic. The sentences are related to each other, and they make sense. Examples 1] Continents are large landmasses. There are seven continents. The continents have different sizes. Asia is the largest continent and Australia is the smallest continent. • This group of sentences is a paragraph. All of the sentences are about one topic: continents.
