What are birds? Birds are animals with backbones. Birds are covered with feathers and have wings. Birds use their feathers and wings to help them fly. Some birds can even swim like a penguin. Mammals are warm-blooded; this means their body temperature stays the same even if it is very cold or very hot outside. How do birds get food?
