They are at school, at home, inside, and outside. • A shape is the form something takes. • Some shapes can stack. • One shape can roll. • For shapes with sides and corners, the number of sides is equal to the number of corners. How to figure out shapes: • A square is a shape with four equal sides and four corners. A square can stack. • A rectangle is a shape with four sides and four corners.
