ORDINALS What are Ordinals? • An ordinal is an object’s position in the order of a group. • An ordinal tells whether an object is first or fifth. • Ordinals go as follows: one = first two = second three = third four = fourth five = fifth six = sixth seven = seventh eight = eighth nine = ninth ten = tenth How to find ordinals: In this set of penguins, the penguin that is waving is the 3rd (third) penguin in line.
